School Visits
The Australian History Museum offers Education Programs for years 9,10, 11 and 12 in line with NSW syllabuses. Focusing on the usefulness and reliability of sources relating to WWI, Changing Rights and Freedoms of Aboriginal Australians in the 20th Century and Australia between the wars. All programs incorporate hands-on workshops with primary source documents and objects from the Australian History Museum collection creating a meaningful educational experience for all students.
The programs are conducted by the Museum's Education Officers who are qualified teachers. Their skills, talents and subject specialties are matched to suit the requirements of the programs on offer.
The content of these programs can be tailor-made to suit the needs of the individual schools or can be organised along more general lines to meet school requirements.

Cost
On-campus schools programs cost $16.50 per student (including GST) for specific program details please see Educational Programs.
Groups over 30 can only be accommodated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
